Privacy and visit measurement

Your project requests

ARK uses the contact details, messages and documents you send us to answer your request and prepare your study. They are passed on to our internal case-management application and, where necessary, sent by email. The page from which you send the form is included with the request.

Understanding where requests come from

With your consent, we store in your browser the first observed source and the last identifiable source of your visit: an advertisement, a search engine, a social network, an email campaign or a referring website. Campaign information, ad click identifiers, the referring domain and the landing page may be kept for up to 90 days.

When you send a form, this information accompanies your request in our internal application or in the notification email. It helps us understand which pages and campaigns bring in projects. A later direct visit does not erase a source that has already been identified. If the source is not available, we record it as unknown.

Without your consent, nothing is stored in your browser. If you send a form during the same visit, we attach only the source of that visit: the source, medium and campaign stated in the link you followed, the domain of the website you came from and the landing page, without any ad click identifier or keyword. This information is used solely to know how you found us (legitimate interest) and is not passed on to Google. Nothing is kept from one visit to the next without your consent.

Measurement tools

With your consent, Google Tag Manager loads Google’s tools for measuring visits and advertising conversions, and also Microsoft Clarity, a Microsoft tool. Clarity records how the site is used: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, mouse movements, and information about the device and browser. These recordings show how people move through the site. Vercel Analytics also measures use of the website. These services are not loaded before you accept. Neither ad personalisation nor enhanced conversions, which would send your contact details to Google, are enabled.

When tracking where visits come from, we do not keep the searches typed into a search engine, the content of forms or URL parameters unrelated to campaigns. A campaign keyword passed on by an advertisement may be associated with the request.

Letting Google know how your request progresses

With your consent, if you reach the website through a Google advertisement, the identifier of that ad click is attached to your request. When the request leads to a case being opened, a quote being sent or a quote being accepted, ARK passes on to Google this identifier, the stage reached, its date and, for an accepted quote, its amount excluding VAT. This lets us measure how effective our advertisements are.

Google never receives your name, email address, phone number, postal address or the content of your request. This feedback is based on your consent. If you withdraw your consent, the click identifier is no longer attached to the requests you send from this browser afterwards, and no feedback to Google results from them; withdrawing does not undo what has already been passed on. Google receives nothing more about a request once 90 days have passed since the ad click.

Accepting, declining or changing your mind

The form also works if you decline measurement. Your decision is stored in your browser for 6 months so that your choice is respected. You can change it at any time with the button below or via “Cookie settings” at the bottom of the page.

If you withdraw your consent, the source stored in this browser is deleted and the measurement tools are stopped. Withdrawing consent does not automatically delete information already sent with a request.
